Return and Refund Policy
At USUAL, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before initiating a return.
Return Eligibility
- Returns can be requested within 7 days of delivery.
- The product must be unused, in its original packaging, with all tags, accessories, and inserts intact.
- The customer must provide a clear reason for the return at the time of initiating the request. Returns initiated without a stated reason may not be processed.
Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged during transit, or incorrect:
- Contact us within 16 hours of delivery at info@usual.co.in or WhatsApp us at +91 8670453347.
- You must provide photographs of the packaging (with a visible tracking number) and the product clearly showing the damage or defect.
- USUAL will bear the return shipping cost for verified defective, damaged, or wrong items.
- A replacement or full refund will be issued after inspection.
Note: Claims for damage or defect raised after 16 hours of delivery and without photographic evidence, will be treated as a standard return (see below).
Standard Returns (Change of Mind / Not Satisfied)
If the product is not defective but you wish to return it:
- Returns must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.
- A return shipping charge will apply based on your order value (see table below).
- No photographic evidence is required, but a reason for return must be stated.

These charges will be deducted from your refund amount at the time of processing.
Items Not Eligible for Return
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Personalized or customized products.
- Sale items (items purchased at a discounted price during a promotional sale event).
- Perishable goods.
- Items damaged through normal wear and tear, misuse, or negligence.
- Products not in their original condition (missing tags, packaging, or accessories).
Specific exclusions, if any, are mentioned in individual product descriptions.
Return Process
- Initiate your return by contacting us at info@usual.co.in or WhatsApp us. You must state the reason for your return at this stage.
- For defective/damaged items, share photographs as described above within 16 hours of delivery.
- Once your return is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your location. You do not need to ship the product yourself.
- After the product reaches our warehouse, our team will conduct a quality inspection within 48 hours.
- If the product passes inspection (unused, original condition, all tags intact), your refund will be processed within 2–3 working days from the date of inspection clearance.
- If the product fails inspection (signs of use, missing tags/packaging, damage not previously disclosed), we will notify you. A partial refund may be issued at our discretion, or the product may be returned to you.
Refund Details
- Prepaid Orders (UPI / Net Banking / Card): Refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 2–3 working days after inspection clearance. Bank processing times may add 3–5 additional business days.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Since COD payments cannot be refunded in cash, we will require your bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) to process the refund via bank transfer. Refund will be credited within 2–3 working days after inspection clearance.
- Return Shipping Deductions: For standard returns (non-defective), the return shipping charge as per the slab above will be deducted from your refund amount.
Exchange Policy
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If you wish to exchange an item, contact our customer service team. If the desired product is unavailable, a refund will be processed as per the terms above.
Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped for a full refund.
- Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. The return policy will apply upon delivery.
Important Notes
- All returned items are subject to inspection. Refunds may be reduced or denied if the product is not in its original, unused condition.
- USUAL reserves the right to deny returns or refunds if the stated reason is found to be inconsistent with the condition of the returned product.
- Return requests must include a valid reason. Our team may ask follow-up questions to better understand the issue — this helps us serve you better and improve our products.
- Timelines mentioned above are indicative and may vary during peak seasons or due to logistical delays beyond our control.
